Attendees of the Midwest Symposium on Circuits & Systems Tutorial Day will be trained to program a basic configuration of the platform, design compatible modules, and contribute to the ecosystem.
Sessions will cover why COSMIIC exists and the clinical/regulatory challenges it addresses, OpenCAN network communication, design and integration requirements for new modules, and how to adopt and extend the COSMIIC ecosystem.
Introductory lectures will be followed by live demonstrations and hands-on exercises using benchtop circuit board evaluation kits. Four experienced COSMIIC biomedical engineers will handle attendee questions throughout.
